I see that family values still doesn't stop at the Rio Grande. Disgusting. These are the people that our politicians want an open border with?

Perhaps AOL should be contacted ...let them know we know the full details of the story. It's maddening that when illegals are involved ....media outlets like AOL no longer want to disclose those facts.....

Arranged marriages are common in the section of Mexico where both Galindo and Martinez are from.
I'm sure if one looks hard enough every sicko behavior out there is "common" somewhere. You're not in your area of Mexico anymore so the same rules don't apply.

Has anyone here seen the article that says in most states of Mexico, the penalty for stealing a cow is more severe than the penalty for raping a woman? These people obviously hold women, even their own daughters, in very low regard.

    In Mexico, an Unpunished Crime

Here's what it says in part:

When they stopped laughing, they said a rapist would probably get a few hours in the local jail, or he might have to pay the victim's family a $10 or $20 fine, but that all would be forgotten if he and the victim got married.

In the case of a cow thief, they said, the robber would be jailed. And, unlike the rapist, a cow thief would be brought before the elders for a lecture about the severity of the crime.

I have been posting it there, telling people the 2 involved are indeed illegal aliens. Under article there is a running comment section, this sort of media bias is very disturbing.

CAPS - Californians for Population Stabilization

    Disgusted Again
by Rick Ottman on Tue., Jan. 13, 2009 at 1:17 pm

Perusing the internet this morning I spotted this headline: "Man accused of selling daughter for cash, beer." Immigration related I wondered? In 2009, after almost 17 years of working for immigration reform and enforcement, I would bet on it.

The AP story didn’t identify any of the subjects of the story, only gave the name of the town, Greenfield, CA. Central Valley, Monterey County? “Yeah,â€

This is not multiculturalism; this right here is an invasion! Just when are we to standup to the Mexican government and tell them we are not the welfare for Mexico? Really! Can California continue this unabated influx of poor Mexican illegal migrants that do not even speak Spanish? The well is running dry!

Just reading on this site it is clear that California's are the welfare for Mexico. Go to city coucial meeting reports.

    Greenfield, CA
87.86% of the population was Hispanic or Latino of any race

In recent years, the town has seen a massive influx of immigrants from the Mexican state of Oaxaca. Many Oaxaca’s speak indigenous languages not related to English or Spanish and as a result, find communication with the large Spanish speaking and smaller English speaking population impossible. Probably the largest single block of such immigrants are speakers of the Copala Triqui language, who are fleeing from poverty and an armed conflict in their native region that has been going on for over 20 years.

Greenfield among fastest-growing cities in state
    BY SCN STAFF 5/3/06

According to figures released by the state this week, while Monterey County was one of the slowest-growing counties in California in 2006, Greenfield proved to be an exception to the numbers.

The fourth fastest-growing in the state, Greenfield showed a population increase of 15.6 percent from 13, 270 last year to 15, 335 people this year.

In comparison, some other surrounding cities in the county showed a relatively small increase in their population growth.

The city of Gonzales had 1.3 percent growth from 8, 344 to 8,455 people while Soledad's numbers, which included its prison inmates, were up 3 percent from 27, 266 in 2005 to 28, 075 in 2006.

King City, on the other hand showed a decrease of 0.2 in their growth this year, dropping to 11, 333 people.
As for Salinas, the county's largest municipality, there was a decrease of 0.3 percent from 148, 759 to 148, 350 people this year.

The population figures for the cities were based upon changes in the number of houses and used various sources of information such as birth and death records and school enrollments.

Greenfield associate planner Suzan Ehdaie said the numbers gathered by the state are used for purposes such as to appropriate funds to cities and counties, support road construction and administer liquor licenses.

I did the same thing, except with the link to the full story stating that they are illegal.
