Pro-illegal Jan. 21 march is canceled, logistical problems.

Washington, 8 N (EFE).- Hispanic activists and religious leaders announced today that they will lobby for immigration reform in 2009 and, like part of that effort, they will carry out a "spiritual cleaning" for the "failed migratory politics" of president George W. Bush.
The "cleaning" will be carried out on January 21, a day after the inaguration of Barack Obama, in the offices of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the organizers expect that the encounter will attract around 500 people.
That symbolic act of "purification", will include a small march toward the offices of ICE, will replace the announced national mobilization for that date which was canceled due to logistical problems, according to the organizers.
During a press conference, leaders of diverse religions of the country also urged Obama, to sign an executive order that impose a moratorium on the raids and deportations of the undocumented, in his judgment, they have caused a "humane crisis" among immigrants.

They probably realize no one will notice their "500" compared to the thousands who are attending the inauguration the day before.

Too bad! I for one was hoping to see thousands and thousands of hispanics waving foreign flags while flying old glory upside down and burning her. They really ought to get more protests like that going in support of their cause. They work quite well in peeing off the voting american public and enlightening others to our cause.

Interesting but would like to see more details. For weeks, we've been hearing about the mass marches the pro-illegal alien, anti-American worker crowd has been planning for the day after the inauguration.
IF this has been cancelled, perhaps they realize this would cause a backlash from the millions of unemployed Americans??Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
