Men caught in blaze could be deported

WHISKEYTOWN NATIONAL RECREATION AREA -- Two of the four people caught in a wildfire Tuesday that burned three of them could face deportation to Mexico.

Sylvestre Carrillo, 25, and Miguel Carrillo, 24 -- who are believed to be brothers -- were being held without bail at the Shasta County jail on Wednesday night on a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement immigration hold, said Alan Foster, special agent at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area.

A third man, Jose Fernandez, 25, was transferred to a burn center after being treated at Mercy Medical Center in Redding, where he had been flown Tuesday, Foster said.
