Hundreds of illegalMexican Immigrants To Apply For Passports

    http://www.digtriad.com/news/local/arti ... 4&catid=57

Davidson County -- Hundreds of Mexican immigrants living in North Carolina could receive a valid form of identification Saturday.

Representatives from the Mexican Consulate will travel to Lexington to issue passports. The consulate will set-up at Grace Episcopal Church.

"I felt this was an opportunity for people to get an official document that they can count on and rely on," explained Davidson County Clerk of Court Brian Shipwash. His office invited the Mexican Consolidate to Lexington.

A Mexican passport will help immigrants apply for bank accounts, acquire housing and pay taxes, Shipwash said. "We will have documentation of an individual, whether they came here illegally or legally," he added. "This does not make them legal citizens of the United States. This simply is a legal form of documentation."

By having representatives from the Mexican Consulate travel from Raleigh to Lexington, Shipwash said immigrants living in Davidson County can apply for a passport closer to home and benefit from a quick turn around time. "In some cases, they could walk away with their passports the same day if they have the correct documentation," he explained.

More than four hundred immigrants are expected to apply for a passport Saturday. The Mexican Consulate will only see people who have a scheduled appointment. In order to receive a passport, applicants must bring their birth certificate, a proof of address, three current photos and two forms of photo identification, such as a school certificate or voter identification card, according to a deputy clerk. The cost of a passport ranges from $35 to $101, depending on the number of years the passport is valid.

    This cannot be legal.

It is not up to just Mexico as to who gets

a LEGAL passport to be in the USA.

Someone in N.C needs to challenge this ASAP .

I hope the sheriff or ICE bust every Illegal who applies.

I guess the "Matricula Consular" Cards previously being issued by Mexican Consulates across the country to enable illega aliens from Mexico to open bank accounts in the United States have been exposed as the fraud that they are (for example, they are not accepted as valid identification to open accounts by banks in Mexico!).

As soon as you close one door, they come in another....

Just another way to ultimately grant citizenship to illegal aliens by corrupt Mexican officials aided and abetted by corrupt local, state, federal governments and law enforcement authorities to those who violated everything which citizenship embodies in effect making them legal residents. You can bet corrupt Mexican government officials will allow use of every fraudulent document known to humankind to issue passports to those who already committed identity fraud. The day that corrupt local, state and federal government officials aided by equally corrupt law enforcement personnel aid and abet in this chicanery is the day we have lost this country and I feel that day is here.

This guy is so matter of fact about his decision to offer assistance to foreign invaders - as if he decided to get up this morning and have a bowl of cheerios!

So we have a County Clerk of Court, conspiring with a foreign entity to aid and abet illegal invaders.

    How can this be legal?

The Mexican consulate has no right to legitimize illegal aliens here with illegally providing them with passports. Those criminals need to go back to their own country and apply there! Then close down ALL Mexican consulates for aiding and abetting illegal aliens.

Jamesw62 it won't help calling corrupt ICE because their head already said he won't pickup and deport illegal aliens. Issuing official documents as passports to identity stealing illegal aliens including terrorists illegally crossing the wide open border during an absolute joke of a war on terror once again shows this government doesn't give a rat's ass about the safety and security of the American people. It is about open borders for cheap labor and votes. This government doesn't care how many Americans are killed by those illegally in this country and terrorists. I am afraid the end of this country is at hand.........
