Gun-control advocates conveniently ignore that the nations with the highest homicide rates have gun bans. Studies, such as one conducted recently by Jeff Miron at Boston University, which examined 44 countries, find that stricter gun-control laws tend to lead to higher homicide rates. Russia, which has banned guns since the Communist revolution, has had murder rates several times higher than that of the United States; even under the Communists, the Soviet Union's rate was much higher.

Good intentions don't necessarily make good laws. What counts is whether the laws ultimately save lives. Unfortunately, too many gun laws primarily disarm law-abiding citizens, not criminals.
As anyone with a lick of sense knew, F&F was a scheme to take down the Second Amendment. Feinswine has been looking for any excuse she could find to disarm the American people (and there is NO reason for registration other than eventual confiscation), and now she thinks she has it. She and her whole filthy party need to be removed from office YESTERDAY!
Is she talking about National Gun Registration in Mexico? I wonder because that's where this Admin sent the unregistered guns.

It is not by coincidence that a fall guy appears in a recent story, followed by Feinstein's rather revealing statement today. They are no longer fooling as many people as they have counted on, yet they press this scheme forward. Fast and Furious was correctly identified by conservative commentators early on as part of a national gun control initiative. They get caught, so what do they do? They sacrifice someone, and they double down and keep playing it by the book.

This is typical of crises, fraudulently promoted or forcibly manufactured, that the socialist Democrats have been attempting to exploit for political gain to their own party, to expand the power of central government, and to gain control over the people.

She is only reinforcing the notion that Fast and Furious was always about gun control in the U.S. and they didn't care how many Mexican citizens were killed to get it.

Not a surprise with her. Many suspect the operation was a set-up for more gun control. The government already controls too much plus guns will always get into the hands of the criminals no matter what they do. Thus, the citizens should be able to protect themselves if need be. If the Dems want to go down the gun control path not many people will view this favorably.

It’s happening: Democratic lawmakers say Fast and Furious proof of need for harsher gun laws

Right on cue, Democratic lawmakers have begun to say the DOJ’s lethal and irresponsible Fast and Furious program underscores the need for stricter gun control laws: http://thehill.com/homenews/administrat ... un-problem
