Calderon: Consulates will defend Mexicans against raids.
TRANSLATED FROM:
http://www.aldiatx.com/sharedcontent/dw ... 37012.html
The Mexican consulates have the instruction to defend "strongly and energetically" the rights of his countrymen, in light of the continuous raids in workplaces and local governments that seek to apply immigration laws, the president of Mexico Felipe Calderon said yesterday.
The leader added that his government is respectful of the laws of other countries but that "to watch over the rights of the Mexican community is ours responsibility".
Cases in which families are separated when immigration agents deports parents or mothers are especially worrying, he said.
"We are aware of the cases of families being separated", the Mexican president said. "Each time we receive children and separated from his parents at the border, we will be in charge of them".

Hes just worried about all that money hes losing. Gotta keep the remittances flowing back to Mexico.
And every time a Mexican leaves his family to sneak into the US he is separating his family of his own free will. Thats really not important to them.

Calderon doesn't condemn separation of families when the husband leaves Mexico to work in the U.S. and money remittances are sent home to the wife and children.
Mexico should only be allowed two consulates--one on each coast."Distrust and caution are the parents of security."

This is obviously double talk "werespect the laws of other counttries". If so get your citizens who are violating our immigration laws the heck out. They broke up own their families when they came here if they truly cared about family unity they would not have come here.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

...the Mexican government will be spending quite a lot of time and money in the U.S. to "defend" the large numbers of illegal alien Mexicans who are bing deported daily....too bad...so sad. Should be using that money to provide jobs, and social services and decent schools in Mexico for these families.

And why doesn't our Chertoff or Bush speak out? Having the consulates try and defend the rights of illegal aliens, who have no rights to be here is an act of obstruction of justice on Calderon's part and the State Department should be handing him a notice.

Did you catch the end of the article when asked about their southern border with Guatemala?
"We are guilty. We have not respected the human rights of Central Americans," he said. "There is no respect for the law. In fact, it's an open border."
