PAPD, ICE target Norte 14 gang members

Port Arthur police and agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement have arrested four juveniles linked to the Norte 14 gang, according to information from the Port Arthur Police Department.

Officers arrested the suspected gang members during a city-wide operation Wednesday.

The juveniles face charges of assault, resisting arrest and engaging in organized criminal activity.

Five adults were also taken into custody for immigration violations.

PAPD officers and ICE agents helped the the U.S. Marshals Service find a suspect wanted for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.

Investigators say the PAPD Street Crimes Unit will continue to target gang activity and plans more operations.
