UT: got an email back from a Rep, 239 & 241 passed

I'm going by what I was told in the email, but don't know if this counts as "official" yet. Rep. Riesen said the bolls passed by a narrow margin.

The email was signed by Rep. Riesen, from his email address. I don't know if it was him or a staffer that actually wrote it though.

Rep. Riesen is in the Utah House. Members of state houses are usually called Representative. Members of the Senate are called Senators.

A bill must pass both parts of the state legislature, both the house and the senate, before going to the Governor to be signed into law. It is about the same as how things work in Washington DC between the US Congress and the US Senate.

Please focus your attention in Utah on the names we have provided for you that are in the Utah Senate.

UT Senate just voted to adjourn until 10:00am tomorrow (Feb 14)

I don't think (but don't know for sure), if they held a vote on SB239 or SB241 yet).
