Caldwell police arrest Nampa man in connection with rape

Calwell police arrested a 24-year-old Nampa man in connection with a rape following a party at a Caldwell home.

Reymundo Hernandez Gutierrez was charged with rape and is on an U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold.

Police said there was a party at the house where the victim lived. However, the victim's roommate hosted the party and the victim did not know the people in the house, police said. The victim stayed in her room during the party, police said.

When the people at the party, including the roommate, left the house, one person stayed behind. That person went into the victim's room. The victim told police she awoke to find a man on her, but she was unable to stop the attack.

She told police that she met her attacker earlier in the day but did not know him.

The victim was taken to West valley Medical Center where she was treated and released.

A lot of these guys are running from the law in their own country, so they come here to wreak havoc on our citizens. You can't allow millions of uneducated foreigners into this country illegally who have been reared with an entirely different type of values, and expect them to adhere to our laws. This is one of the biggest problems with illegal immigration, and why our prisons are full of scum like this. Nobody can check them out because they're scattered all over this nation and nobody knows anything about them until they commit a crime. By then it's too late.
