DPS Detains Suspected Immigrants at Traffic Stop

PHOENIX - The Arizona Department of Public Safety says a traffic stop in east Phoenix led to the discovery of 11 suspected illegal immigrants and two suspected human smugglers.

DPS spokesman Bart Graves says they were found inside a pickup truck that officers had pulled over at Interstate 10 and 40th Street around 9 a.m. Monday.
