U.S. House of Representatives Tom Tiffany (Wisconsin) and Doug LaMalfa (California) visiting Tucson, AZ, and the Casa Alitas Ramada Inn Holding Center for Illegal Aliens. Unfortunately, getting answers are not a thing you get in Pima County. The Sheriff’s office was called immediately and a deputy was sent out to run off the Congressmen with not-so-subtle behaviors of indifference regarding information.

Asking questions now gets immediate calls for “trespassing”. Why?

Because guilty-feeling people with power positions can get away with such actions on their own home turf. (Outsiders need not attempt to find out.)

Otherwise, their ability to SHOW OFF their OPERATIONS would be a thing.

Come on! Let’s do a tour!

The Sheriff of PIMA County is Democrat Chris Nanos. Nanos was rehired in 2020 via a very close Sheriff election (less than 3,500 votes out of 502,000). Nanos held the office of sheriff in 2016 during a FBI probe on misuse of seized funds that nabbed the second-in-command in Pima County.

FBI investigators say that from January 2011 through February 2016, Radtke and others “conspired to circumvent the restrictions on the use of forfeiture funds” intended for the Sheriff’s Auxiliary Volunteers, spending roughly $500,000 on items not related to crime fighting or prevention.

Between February 2015 and January 2016, Nanos submitted departmental requests for nearly $220,000 in transfers to the volunteers fund, according to Pima County Attorney’s Office documents recently obtained by the Star through a public-records request.

To the present day, CASA ALITAS is supported through Catholic Community Services of Southern Arizona which received federal grants (your taxpaying dollars) of nearly $750,000 in 2023. Alitas brags about its funding from Jeff Bezos ($5 million) and relationship with governor Katie Hobbs (former Secretary of State before 2022). But its key relationship is the proximity to Pima County government buildings, particularly the Sheriff’s office.
