Thursday, 25 September 2008

Atlanta - In an effort to raise awareness of the dangers associated with internally smuggling narcotics into to the United States, U.S. Customs and Border Protection is informing travelers of the dangers associated with this type of action.

CBP was created in 2003 as part of the Department of Homeland Security, and it has tightened inspections at U.S. ports of entry. Thus smugglers are taking more chances to try to bring in dangerous drugs and contraband.
