GRANJENO β€” U.S. Customs and Border Protection arrested a Mexican man and a woman who allegedly had counterfeit travel visas.

The bust happened Monday at the Anzalduas International Bridge. Customs officers came in contact with a northbound taxicab. A 29-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, both from Huetamo, Mich., were referred to secondary, where officers determined their B1/B2 travel visas attached to their Mexican passports were allegedly counterfeit.

Officers continue to investigate the alleged crime. Both suspects remain in custody.
