    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer will speak in Arkansas next month at a state Republican Party dinner.

    The Republican is slated to appear at the 2011 Governor's Dinner on Oct. 6 in Little Rock.

    Brewer has gained national attention for her support of an illegal immigration law that toughens enforcement and would have allowed law enforcement to question the status of those suspected of being in the country illegally. She's appealed a federal court ruling against the law to the U.S. Supreme Court.

    In a statement announcing her appearance, Arkansas GOP Chairman Doyle Webb says Brewer ``has felt the frustration that every American has experienced'' due to the policies of President Barack Obama.
