    CBP Officers Seize More Than $7 Million of Narcotics Over Weekend in San Diego/Imperial Valley

    San Diego, Calif. - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at ports of entry along the California/Mexico border over the weekend seized approximately 1,109 pounds of narcotics valued at more than $7 million. CBP officers at the six land ports of entry intercepted 25 smuggling attempts involving marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamine, and heroin. (more)

    Del Rio, Texas - U.S. Border Patrol agents seized more than 1,000 pounds of marijuana worth more than $880,000 and arrested a dangerous criminal in recent days.Sunday, Nov. 4, Eagle Pass North Station agents, working on a local ranch, discovered three abandoned military-style duffel bags.     Laredo, Texas - On November 13, 2012, Laredo West and Zapata Station agents in two separate cases mount of marijuana valued at $2,295,840, and arrested one subject in each case. In the first incident, agents assigned to the Laredo West Station were working roving patrol duties in the Mines Road area when they noticed a silver 2001 Dodge Ram pulling a gooseneck flatbed trailer hauling two large cream colored tanks traveling north bound.
