CBP seizing more cocaine than in years before

Cocaine seizures in the Yuma area have increased significantly over the past two years, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection figures.

Agent Michael Lowrie, a spokesman for the Yuma Sector Border Patrol, said agents seized 332 pounds of cocaine in fiscal year 2010, which is four times more than the amount of cocaine seized in fiscal year 2009.
