McALLEN, December 14 - The new assistant director for governmental affairs at the McAllen Hispanic Chamber of Commerce believes the chances of Congress passing comprehensive immigration reform and the DREAM Act has been greatly improved by Barack Obama’s presidential victory.


Land developer Israel Rocha spent eight years in Washington, D.C., working for U.S. Rep. Rubén Hinojosa, D-Mercedes. Rocha helped MHCC President and CEO Cynthia Sakulenzki unveil the Chamber’s legislative agenda at a news conference in McAllen this week.

I thought this was the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Why the Hispanic chamber of commerce etc. What has happened to this country? Multiculturism in NOT good for this country.

The OBL's greed is insatiable. Do they actually think that Americans are more likely to accept a mass amnesty now that the economy has tanked with 10 million Americans out of work and unemployment at a 15-year high? But I agree with Rebelrouser. We can't get complacent and must keep telling family, friends and neighbors to get involved to fight this open borders insanity.

No they don't think Americans will accept a mass amnesty. That's why they are going to lie and tell Americans it's only for 65,000 "immigrant children" (Dream Act). OK this is more than a lie, it is high treason. The Dream Act will help 65,000 COLLEGE AGE ILLEGALS WHO GRADUATE EVERY YEAR!! The first year it will help the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS WHO ALREADY GRADUATED!!!

Then when all these amnesties illegals get green cards they will sponsor their parents and relatives for green cards!!

Eventually millions of illegals will get green cards, more than who benefited from the 1986 mass amnesty!!
