Feds say Annapolis brothel raided

Five men were charged Monday with running brothels in Annapolis and Easton, federal prosecutors announced Tuesday.

Authorities said all the men are in the United States illegally.

In raids Monday, police and immigration officials searched three homes: one on Carver Street in Annapolis and two in Prince George's County.

In an affidavit filed in federal court, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent said the Carver Street home was being used as a brothel.

The affidavit says the defendants transported women from Virginia and Washington, D.C., to Maryland to engage in prostitution.

German de Jesus Ventura, 32, of Capitol Heights was arrested Monday and expected to appear in court Tuesday.

Isidro Jiminez-Sanchez and Wibert Alejandro Herrera-Aranda, both 32 and from Easton, were already in custody on state charges.

The two other defendants, Kerlin Esau Esquivel-Feuntes, 23, of Annapolis and Luis Alberto Reyes, 28, are still at large.

The investigation stemmed from a September 2008 homicide in Annapolis. A man died in that shooting and a second victim, who survived, told police she was a prostitute. She had numbers for "pimps" in a notebook, and police began investigating.

They're lawlessness is such a slap in the face of Americans, we can't get away with squat, always forced to tow the line. But they don't give a rats ass about our laws or our country they'll be deported (maybe) and be back here pimpin' hoes in a new location and I have to say if they're pimpin' then I wouldn't put anything past these crooks!

Well here in Maryland, when you have a governor that refers to illegal aliens as "New Americans", the lawlessness just increases just like the influx of illegal aliens.

Parts of Annapolis are referred to as "Little El Salvador" or "Little Mexico." Disgusting to think in the areas surrounding our Naval Academy, illegals are taking over.
