IF YOU TAKE IT SERIOUSLY, GET THE NATIONAL GUARD DOWN ON THE BORDER AGAIN AND GIVE THEM THE RIGHT TO FIRE ON THESE GUYS. WE HAVE A WAR ON OUR BORDER AND THE ONLY MILITARY DOWN THERE IS THE MEXICAN MILITARY HELPING THE DRUG CARTELS.

    31%, that's a huge increase.

Did funding and manpower increase equally as much?

Increasing manpower and funding will do no good if our agents are not allowed to use force if necessary to keep aliens on the other side of the border.

I don't totally agree with that because police presence is an effective deterrent.

May God protect these brave men, because our goverment cannot be depended on to do it!
Yes, April, God Bless and protect them. But you know what's so wierd?

We all know when our government WANTS to, they can do almost anything. They just have to make the decision that they want to.

I truly believe that even our president who in the past has seemed very calm and relaxed over our border problems probably did not take this kind of news and information lightly.

We will see. Let's pray for our Border Patrol agents and let's watch carefully to see how they respond.

It does not sound as though Secretary Chertoff took this very lightly, and that's what we need and want to see.
