Johnston County — Three Selma men were arrested for selling cocaine Friday, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office reported. They were each placed under $1 million bonds.

Gabriel Hernandez-Medrano, Ruben Nunez-Garcia and Israel Hernandez-Jaimes, all of 7884 N.C. 96 North, were arrested and charged with trafficking in cocaine. Hernandez-Medrano was charged with two counts, while Nunez-Garcia and Hernandez-Jaimes were each charged with one count. All three each had bonds of $1 million.

Capt. A.C. Fish of the Sheriff's Office said deputies worked with the Drug Enforcement Association in the case. He said the three men were not in the country legally. An undisclosed amount of cash, 10 guns and 1 kilo of cocaine was found in the men’s home, the captain said.
