Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) has announced that nearly a dozen and a half states are now filing versions of Arizona’s S.B. 1070 law, designed to help local police enforce America’s existing immigration laws.

Various polls have indicated that close to 75 percent of the U.S. population supports Arizona’s move and wants their own states to do the same.

“Our national network of activists has been working overtime trying to help the state of Arizona and the brave Arizonans who have passed this bill,â€

God Bless ALIPAC and thank God the American People are standing up for what is RIGHT, and GOOD, and TRUE, and FAIR.

We all need to double our efforts now!

I doubt if anything will be done in Maryland. The Marylland state legislature is dominated by Liberal Democrats from sanctuary areas like Montgomery COuntry, Prince George's country etc. The bill will never even get out of committe far less come to the floor.

Remember that while the western part of the state is very conservative, it is overwhelment by the votes of those living and working in DC. You are talking about a state which gives money to Casa De Maryland and county officials who refuse to let police check immigration status of prisoners.

Untill the downstate liberal Democrats are voted out of office there is not one chance in a million that any laws restricting illegal immigration can pass.

Remember we are talking about a state which PHASED IN checking IDs to obtain driver's licenses.
