Why is it a lie? If you don't have state-licensed detention space, under the law you have to release them. If there are children involved, you have to release them within 20 days under the law due to the Flores Agreement which is a settlement agreement with the Federal Court. The reason we don't have enough detention space is because DOJ hasn't done their job keeping up. The reason we have to release these children and families is because Border Patrol allowed them into the country when their job was to keep them out.

Will a wall fix any of that? No, it won't. Trump's DACA deal would have fixed all of that plus reduced legal immigration by eliminating chain migration and the visa lottery, plus several other provisions that would have reduced legal immigration while fixing the problems that generate illegal immigration. The trade off though was in the House bill, 3 year work permits for 3 times (9 years, no pathway to citizenship) for 590,000 DACA's and in the Senate Version, 3 year work permits for 4 times (12 years) for DACA's and their parents, and based on good records and some other standards a pathway to citizenship.

When those of us who want to end illegal immigration into the US can't agree on how to do it with the options available, then the status quo wins and the problem continues and in this case because Republicans lost the House in the mid-terms, worsens rapidly.

In business, we call this situation a quagmire. At home, we call it a giant clusterfxck.

What about the LIE that he will not "warehouse" millions of people in tents on our border?

We do not want them warehoused or released anywhere in OUR country!

Now they want millions of dollars of our money for MORE beds! No beds. Get them on buses back home!

I do not want to pay for their beds, sheets, blankets, pillows, pajamas, shoes, clothes, diapers, water, food, milk, formula, snacks, heat, air conditioning, showers, soap, towels, toilets, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning crew, nurses, healthcare, medications, diseases, surgeries, child birth, cable tv, videos, movies, computers, internet, books, education, papers, pens, pencils, school supplies, phone chargers, games, toys, soccer balls, baseballs, pool tables, lawsuits, lawyers, courts costs, jail, prison...nothing!

Do not warehouse them, do not release them. No taxpayer paid bus or airplane rides across OUR county. Process and deport them!

Where are the FREE bus ride and airplane tickets for legal US citizens who want to travel across the country but cannot afford it? Where is their free food and hotel rooms?

What about our homeless on the streets? The thousands who lost homes to hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, mudslides, volcanos!

We are 22 trillion in debt...why they hell do WE borrow money from China and work to pay our own bills and feed our own children to pay for foreign citizens who have NO right to be here. Go borrow your own money from China and fix your own damn country.

WE DO NOT WANT THEIR FAMILIES, THEIR UAC'S, OR THEIR MEN! GET THEM OUT OF HERE!

They do not qualify and WE should not pay for their detention centers, medical care, food, education, transportation, lawyers or beds!

Use those funds to build the STEEL BARRIERS and keep them out!
