A convenient tool WE can use, maybe?

I'm on the mailing list for Bluelatinos.org (hehehe)

    Dear BlueLatinos,

The struggle for comprehensive immigration reform continues.

Today, marking the one-year anniversary of the largest pro-immigrant marches in U.S. history, immigrants came out in peaceful protest calling on the Bush Administration and Congress to fix our broken immigration system. Despite the wave of terror orchestrated by ICE--from workplace raids to mass deportations of over 220,000 people--immigrants marched to remind America that we need fair and comprehensive immigration reforms.

    You can help.

Join thousands calling and emailing their Senators demanding action on immigration reform. Call the number below to get connected to your two Senators.

Call: 1-800-417-7666 (for instructions in Spanish, call: 1-800-882-2005)

After hearing a short message, you will be asked to choose which Senator you would like to be connected to; the system automatically detects your Senators based on your area code.

After you make your choice, you will be connected to that Senator's office. When connected, leave this message:

"I am calling to urge you to fix our broken immigration system. Millions of hard-working families are counting on Congress to pass comprehensive immigration reform this year. It's time to fix our broken system. America deserves better. Get it done! Thank you."

Don't forget to call again to speak with your other Senator when you're done leaving the first message.

And make sure to email them both to be sure they get the message that we want comprehensive immigration reform this year.

Click here to send Congress an email today.

Add your voice. The stage is set. America is now ready.

    En la lucha,

    Hi Dagmar

A blue latino would be a legal hispanic who is a democrat.

Red States and Blue States refer to those states whose residents predominantly vote for the Republican Party or Democratic Party.

They bill themselves as progressive Latinos. The idea of illegals discussing anything with 'their' senator is indeed funny. But then, Nasscom hires lobbyists to get more H-1Bs, so our government really is for sale, and open to talking with anyone BUT John Q. Public.
