CNN piece on Obama family in Kenya
It looks like the family have put more money from their success into their house than into barns. It is nice to see that they are still raising their own food. A lot of remittance money goes into purchasing food rather than into expanding farming activity. Part of the solution to the situation will have to be putting money into productive assets instead of direct consumption.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I agree Richard that the priority should go into expanding farming activity or other forms of business. Becoming self-sufficient should be the goal.
