2 accused of forging immigration documents

EAGLE COUNTY, Colo. (KJCT) -- Two Newcastle men are in jail, accused of selling fake ID's to an undercover detective.

The men allegedly delivered a fake residence alien card and fake Social Security card to the detective for $120.

The two suspects, 35-year-old Ivan Loya Maldonado, and 31-year-old Jamie Loya Valenzuela, are charged with counterfeiting and possession of a forged instrument.

The men are being held on $2500 bond and have an immigration and customs enforcement detainer
