I don't think so. There were illegals that fled up there from the United States and tried getting construction jobs. They were caught and deported. Canada also does not have an anchor baby policy and would deport all of them. Last year there were 2 cases where they tried the anchor baby scam. The first family was Portuegese and had their last appeal and lost. She had her baby and they did not leave as they used the excuse of how long it takes to get the baby a passport. Immigration gave them 2 or 3 days to get someone to take care of the child and deported the parents. Once the child got the birth certificate the child was sent to join mom and dad back in Portugal. Another woman was Chinese and tried to use the fact that single moms are frowned upon and that you can't bring a child born in another country to China. The government said then put the child up for adoption. That is what she ended up doing as she was being deported.
