The House passed a slew of bills this morning, including photo ID for voting and the exclusion of Larimer and Weld from the emissions program.

Those two bills provided the closest votes; most bills passed unanimously or with near unanimous support. Republicans have a 33-32 edge in the House.

The bills now head to the Senate.

The emissions bill passed 34-32 with Democrat Wes McKinley of Walsh joining with the GOP.

The photo ID bill, HB 1003, passed 35-30. Two Democrats — Sue Schafer of Wheat Ridge and John Soper of Thornton — joined with Republicans in passing the measure.

It pared the list of current acceptable forms of ID to vote, including:

- A copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document that shows the name and address of the elector.

- A valid medicare or medicaid card issued by the U.S. health care financing administration.
