Man said he would kill Americans in Mexico, detective says

AVON — An illegal immigrant was arrested Monday for allegedly mugging a man on Avon’s bike path, Avon police said.

Felipe Pacheco, of Mexico, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated robbery and second-degree assault, both felonies, according to police records.

Pacheco and Vicente Perez-Landeros, of Honduras, fought at the parking lot outside Agave Saturday and left when police arrived, said Detective Paul Arnold of the Avon Police Department.

Pacheco beat Perez-Landeros and stole his jacket and cell phone when the men met along the bike path behind Liftview Condominiums around midnight, Arnold said.

Perez-Landeros was treated at Vail Valley Medical Center for a three- or four-inch gash below his eye, Arnold said.

On Monday, Perez-Landeros saw Pacheco outside Eagle Valley Temps and called police, who arrested Pacheco, Arnold said.

Pacheco, whose age is unknown, at first would not talk to police, Arnold said.

Is there any doubt in anyone that ALL illegal aliens need deported?

I suggest a three tiered approach to deportation:

1. Determine the immigration status of ALL foreign born cirminals currently incarcerated. As soon as they serve their sentence, deport them with no exceptions.

2. Take away the magnets. No jobs, no welfare, no access to government and public programs, facilities and services, no provision of benefits of any kind...millions will leave on their own.

3. Those that remain are deported as they are identified through infractions with police and attempted accessing of public and government programs.

You forgot the fence! Once they are out, we need to keep them out. A quality fence such as the Duncan Hunter fence will be necessary when our federal government starts backsliding on enforcing sanctions against employers.

Slug needs to do some time before they deport him.
