Coleman takes aim at illegal driver's licenses

WASHINGTON (AP) - Senator Norm Coleman is taking a shot at his native New York.
Coleman has introduced a resolution condemning states that issue driver's licenses to illegal immigrants.
The plan to do so by New York's Democratic governor, Eliot Spitzer, has led to a national debate on the issue.
The Minnesota Republican weighed in with a resolution along with 15 Republican co-sponsors, including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky.
Coleman says it's a national security issue. He also says giving illegal immigrants driver's licenses tells them they can live in the U.S. with impunity.
A spokeswoman for Spitzer says members of Congress should spend less time with partisan statements of condemnation and more time tackling the failed national immigration policy.

Predicting Coleman's moves is like trying to predict the weather. The guy voted for the Dream Act and now introduces this proposal, what gives?
Its like trying to swat a roach when you turn on the light the little boogers are so fast its hard to get a hit.
