    Three illegal immigrants injured in construction accidents in New York were awarded settlements totaling $3.85 million in the past two weeks, lawyers said on Wednesday.

    AccidentsLawyers representing the three men said that the settlements demonstrated that illegal workers should not be afraid to sue their employers if they are hurt on the job.

    “Each of these men was injured in the course of their work on construction sites, and their immigration status was irrelevant to their right to seek redress for those injuries,â€

    1. Attention hospitals and doctors: Recover the $$ you spent to put these invaders back together.

    2. I think this is great!!! I hope the awards put them out of business - if they hired LEGAL workers and had workman's comensation for the claims this would not be an issue.
