Thread: Coming Out of the Shadows

Don't worry, even if all of this horrible legislation passes, I have a feeling that illegals won't come out of the shadows in droves to become "legal." There'll still be alot of suspicion and distrust there, and our government's inadequate bureaucracy will make the whole thing a nightmare. I don't know if this is very comforting, but I'm trying to look on the bright side.

I heard another Senator saying something like that. He estimates half of those here illegally will actually get the necessary papers to show they were here legally working. The other half would not bother and that half should be the half deported.
