News conference planned in Denice case

MILFORD (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Congressman Richard E. Neal and Milford Police Chief Thomas O'Laughlin will hold a press conference Monday to discuss recent developments in the Matthew Denice case.

The 23-year-old Milford resident was killed when he was struck by a pickup truck being driven by alleged drunk driver and illegal immigrant Nicolas Guaman back in August.

Luis Acosta, a key witness in the case, who was issued a federal monitoring bracelet, cut off that device on Oct. 1, and federal authorities believe has fled the United States.

A spokesperson for the Denice family told FOX 25 the eyewitness was in the backseat when the whole crash took place, took off and was later apprehended. That person is now nowhere to be found.

Officials at ICE were contacted and the family was told he likely fled the country and is believed to be in South America.

The press conference will be held 4:30 p.m. in Milford.

Our Politcians always seem confused when an ILLEGAL is let out of jail and then runs away. They are ILLEGALS, they do not respect any United States laws and we don't give them any reason to respect the United States we never Enforce any of our Immigration Laws and refuse to Secure Our National Borders. The ILLEGALS realize they can murder and rape any of our Citizens and then return to their Home Countries without punishment and later cross our National Borders with a different ID and all will be well.

I highly doubt he left the land of free and plenty. Probably got himself a new ID and is back in business.
