Tom Tancredo, the nation's unofficial godfather of the anti-illegal immigration movement, leaned back in the booth of a Mexican restaurant in Littleton on a recent afternoon and laughed.
"I honestly haven't thought about that," he said.
What Tancredo hadn't contemplated was the question of whom he would pick as a running mate if he won the Republican Party's 2008 presidential nomination.
The fourth-term congressman from the 6th Congressional District, which includes Littleton, has embarked on an unofficial bid to be the nation's next president.
