Detainees without proof of U.S. citizenship say they work for a Construction Company in Morgantown.

Parkcrest Builders was in trouble before, now their suspected of employing illegal aliens

On Tuesday October 11th six people did not have proof of U.S. citizenship after state police pulled them over for a routine traffic stop. That same day 22 people with U.S. citizenship were taken from the Morgantown Motel to the Transport Processing Center. They are also suspected of working for Parkcrest Builders in Morgantown.

"I don't think it's really uncommon for large construction companies employing these folks," said Chief Deputy Al Kisner, "They take jobs easily."

Back in May the Department of Labor stopped construction of the District Apartments due to the fact that Parkcrest Builders did not have a license and were using undocumented workers.

"There is a possibility that some of them do know theyy are illegal aliens." said Kisner.

Deputies are awaiting confirmation from the U-S Immigration and Naturalization Service.
