Nearly 100 activists are readying camping gear and fashioning crosses for a 125-mile trek in remembrance of migrants who died trying to cross the U.S.-Mexico border and to push for changes in immigration policies.

These activist groups would do much better to march and lobby the Mexican government who has the MOST STRICT IMMIGRATION LAWS anywhere... they need to start demanding from the Mexican government better welfare, hospitalization from THEIR GOVERNMENT, NOT OURS!!!!!

If they would stay home and quit breaking our laws sneaking across the border, this march would be totally irrelevant.

For Saucedo, head of Casa Refugio Elvira in Tijuana, a shelter for deported families, the upcoming march spotlights the absence of a legal entry system for Mexicans and Latin Americans and a lack of economic opportunity in those countries.
There are way too many here from mexico and some latin american countries, and alot are here illegally. What about people all over the world who've followed all the steps and are still waiting in limbo to come here? Mexico is not a poor country and there are more economic opps in mexico than there are here.

We have more than enough of our own poor, no need to import more. Creating economic opps is the responsibility of their own countries. Instead of sneaking into the US, they would be better off making their own countries better.

We already have legal ways to enter. Coming in illegally is not one of them. Violating our laws and refusing to respect our laws does not garner sympathy from us. NO means NO!
