Burglary suspects caught

BY CHARLYN FINN - Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office assisted by the Port Lavaca police apprehended five burglary suspects Thursday night connected with a string of events that began in Jackson County and ended in Calhoun County. Sheriff B.B. Browning said four of the five suspects are illegal aliens.

Browning said Jackson County SO alerted Calhoun County SO that occupants of a light green car had committed a string of burglaries in Jackson County and were believed headed to Calhoun County on FM 172.
