This goes back to president Nixon's "silent majority" statement. They may be loud, they may get attention, but overall these people are in the minority on the immigration issue as poll after poll shows.

The quisling senate will probably not pass the immigration bill the house did as is. They'll attach an amnesty/guest worker thing and it will go back to the house of representatives and be voted down and we'll keep the status quo.

It's getting time to start fighting this state by state as Arizona did with prop. 200 and Georgia is doing now.

Yes, the bills come in to the states and to local governments. I cannot understand why they've waited until they have such a huge mess to clean up before ever starting to clean house.

    Quote:
Among the protesters was 35-year-old Lucas Perez, a construction worker from Georgetown, who joined the crowd as it chanted in Spanish, "Aqui estamos y no nos vamos." Translation: "We're here and we're not going."
"We need everyone to understand we're part of this society," he said.

Only 20,000? I wish all 20 million of them would march on Washington.

And put it on tv so the public can see what the magnitude of this invasion is. And how our homeland security, our senators, our representatives, our court system has failed miserably to protect us.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Perdue paid them for the day for their protest. After all, these chicken pickin places depend of illegals.
I hope Purdue just cooked their own goose with this news and it wouldn't surprise me, either!

Rarely does a week go by that it's readers aren't force fed a front page story sympathetic to the plight of "immigrants". Last week they ran a piece that was, for all intents and purposes, a rallying call for this states illegals to attend this protest in Washington.
Force fed is right. And I'm getting sick and tired of it. Do you see any of them feeling sorry for the American people? Jeepers!

Why didn't ICE round them up?
good question. They can round up five hundred even easier than one hundred thousand!
