The parking lot and shops at the Grant Avenue Shopping Center in Manassas was nearly empty around lunch time Tuesday as area many legal and illegal immigrants participated in a county-wide work stoppage to protest Prince William proposed crack down on illegal immigrants.

On a typical day, the parking lot of the center, which contains mostly Latino-owned stores, is lined with trucks selling tacos and other Mexican foods. At noon, none of the vendors were there.

So, these illegal criminals take the day off and the only people to suffer were their own buddies! I love it! It's too bad they wouldn't do this more often, like EVERY day. To heck with a "day without immigrants", how about a YEAR without immigrants or even a DECADE?????????? This is rich! No one misses them but the taco vendors. Har, har, har.

The only business that saw a drop in sales were ones catering to Latinos??? That's funny as hell!! Just who are they supposed to be hurting again by holding boycotts??? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

In a nutshell it boils down to la raza only buys from la raza so it doesn't hurt us at all.

Ya, they needed more time off to sell all their stolen goods.

Let me tell you folks, Manassas is the next town over from me. It is a small town. They have tried this before and it really has no effect. Most of them shop at hispanic stores, which close for this event. Also, since Prince William passed their immigration laws, most of them won't "come out of the shawdows" because they're afraid. There are a few big grocery stores and a small mall. But, there are plenty of legal citizens that shop at these places. This is another pathetic attempt to show us how much they are needed in this community. Most of us just chuckle and go about our business.
