DCCC: Pa. voter ID law could sink Obama’s campaign

    July 25, 2012

    The Washington Examiner

Pennsylvania’s voter identification law could sink President Obama’s reelection campaign, according to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).

“Pennsylvania’s new ‘voter I.D.’ law could literally decide the fate of President Obama’s re-election,” wrote DCCC field director Brynne Craig. “It’s not the first time that Republicans have tried to suppress the vote — but in an election this close, it could be the tipping point that delivers the Presidency to Mitt Romney.”

The Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is creating a new voter ID card that is free for people without other forms of ID.

“As we work to ensure that Pennsylvanians have the identification they need to vote this fall, this new card will provide another photo ID option for voters,” Commonwealth Secretary Carol Aichele said earlier this week. “Everyone who needs ID to vote will be able to get it months before the election.”

If a voter shows up without a photo ID, that person can still vote in the presidential election by casting a provisional ballot and then confirm their voter status within six days.

Pennsylvania accepts several forms of ID — college students can use their school IDs, for instance — which you can see below:

*Photo IDs issued by the U.S. Federal Government or the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (including the Department of State Voter ID Card)

*PA Driver’s License or Non-driver’s License photo ID (IDs are valid for voting purposes 12 months past expiration date)

    *Valid U.S. passport

*U.S. military ID- active duty and retired military (a military or veteran’s ID must designate an expiration date or designate that the expiration date is indefinite). Military dependents’ ID must contain an expiration date

*Employee photo ID issued by Federal, PA, PA County or PA Municipal government

*Photo ID from an accredited PA public or private institution of higher learning, including colleges, universities, seminaries, community colleges and other two-year colleges

*Photo ID issued by a PA care facility, including long-term care facilities, assisted living residences or personal care homes

Aichele doesn’t seem determined to “steal the election,” as DCCC declared.

Hmmm, looks like all the bases are covered as far as ID's accepted.

Except of course Obozo's illegal invaders! That's who the DCCC are concerned about the most

So sad, most illegal aliens in PA won't be able to steal the vote. Only a few will have valid school IDs that would work.

Talk about surpressing the vote! Every time an illegal votes, it negates or surpresses the vote of an American citizen.

To the Liberals suppressing the vote is not allowing the dead or illegals to vote not to mention bus loads of paid voters voting in different precincts.

I question the validity of ID's issued by Penn State based upon past forthrighhtness of that institution?
