Is De Facto Amnesty Coming Next?

Rumors have been circulating for awhile now that the Obama administration is looking for a way to grant amnesty to at least some of the millions of illegal aliens present in the US without putting it to a vote by Congress.

National Review has obtained an Internal memo http://www2.nationalreview.com/memo_UCIS_072910.html from the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services. The subject of the memo is 'Administrative Alternatives to Comprehensive Immigration Reform.' Read the memo at the link. The purpose is clearly stated in the first paragraph.

Apparently, nothing is too underhanded or unlawful for the Obama administration.

Earlier this week The Iowa Independent carried this story about Sen. Chuck Grassley's efforts to expose this secret under the table attempt at amnesty. http://iowaindependent.com/39869/grassl ... to-amnesty

U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, believes the Obama administration could be planning to grant "large-scale, de facto amnesty" to millions of undocumented immigrants, and in a letter to the Department of Homeland Security, calls such efforts an attempt to "bypass Congress and the legislative process." http://www.iowapolitics.com/index.iml?Article=204392

Now you know what may be coming. Unless exposing it to the light of day stops it they will likely go forward with their plan.

Plus, the total eradication of the United States Border.

I think the only solution might be to organize a credible threat of impeachment if this happens. I suppose Obama would counter that he had the Executive prerogative to do this---and that would make the Republicans look stupid. The other deterrent would be to convince enough Democrat Congressmen that they would be out of office in this event.

He would be led out in chains by the Republicans!

Time to start getting on the phones people, and let those in DC know this is literally a no go. The answer was no in 2007, it is no now. Nothing has changed, the people do not want amnesty of any kind.
