The Department of Public Safety raided a suspected drop house in Glendale on Sunday night.

Officers say 26 suspected illegal immigrants were detained and seven suspects were taken into custody.

The people found at the house say they were subjected to threats with handguns, rape and electrocution.

Ya know what? They wouldn't have been subjected to any of that if they had not PAID to be smuggled here. Every single one of them should be jailed and deported at the end of their sentences. They cannot and should not be classified as "victims" if they caused it themselves!

Wow, illegal aliens are really getting wise to the loop-holes in our law that have been provided to legalize their status. These folks will probably claim that they are crime victims and will have their status legalized as a condition of testifying against the smugglers.

Heck, in a worse case scenario, perhaps ICE has been directed by our new Secretary of DHS to ask them leading questions that will assure their possibility for legalization. Remember, Secretary Napolitano is not longer interested deporting illegals, she wants the employers, smugglers, gun-runners, etc. - everyone but the illegal aliens.

Authorities took custody of 10 suspected human smugglers and nearly 30 undocumented immigrants after a tip led them to a drop house in Glendale where the immigrants were being held against their will.

The "coyotes" are suspected of attempting to extort money out of the families of the undocumented immigrants, threatening to electrocute or assault them.

A family member of one of the victims tipped off police, who discovered the drop house near 43rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road on Sunday night.
