A Wilmington police said today they have arrested an illegal immigrant who shot a man Saturday afternoon who was also in this country illegally, fatally wounding him.

The victim, who is from Mexico, has not been identified, said Master Steven Barnes, a police spokesman.

The suspect, also from Mexico, has not been positively identified.

He was charged Sunday “under the name he provided,â€
