ELSA - A group of undocumented immigrants are in ICE custody. They were found in an Elsa home Monday. Folks in the neighborhood say that house was suspicious.

People stood on the sidewalk and peered over fences in one Elsa neighborhood, watching the scene unfold. A normal street in Elsa was buzzing with activity around noon Monday.

"I was out here and I just saw the cops right there like flies. And they were talking to two guys, and all of a sudden, all these people start coming out of the house. We never see anybody in that house," says one neighbor who didn't want to be identified.

The woman says it's not a good neighborhood.

"It's a bad neighborhood here, everywhere in Elsa, real bad. A lot of people break into your home," she says.

She says she hasn't seen anything like this before. Authorities moved 21 undocumented immigrants found inside the house out in vans. Tire tracks and an empty house are all that were left after ICE, Border Patrol and Elsa police left. Another neighbor wasn't surprised.

"That didn't surprise me at all, especially since those people moved there not too long ago and I've heard that that's how they make their living," says neighbor George Stillman.

Stillman can see this stash house from his back porch. He says he's seen strange activity happening at that house.

"Pickup trucks go in there around 3, 3:30 in the morning," says Stillman.

Border Patrol says they may have one smuggler in custody.
