Democrat puts down his marker for immigration reform

Immigration Rally With a throng of Latinos chanting ‘Yes we can’ in English and Spanish in the shadow of the Capitol, Rep. Luis Gutierrez laid down his marker for a comprehensive immigration reform bill he’s expected to introduce before year’s end.

Gutierrez, D-Ill., is the biggest champion in the House for a broad-based bill that includes legalizing the estimated 12 million undocumented immigrants now living in the United States. He capped off a string of speakers organized by Reform Immigration FOR America, a group created to try and get a measure passed during this Congress after the failures in 2006 and 2007.

Since when did treason become one of the congressional duties? I am sure there will be a severe backlash, and I will start verbally rioting now to as many congressmen as I can find.

    * A path to legalization for illegal immigrants who pay taxes, learn English, pass background checks.
Guess they gave up the demand for citizenship seeing as how none of them really want to be citizens. That would mean responsibility and they are interested only in the benefits available from our government.

Same old crap... Give away America and have no enforcement.

Same-o-same-o. Amnesty doesn't work, enforcement does.

I'm all for family reunification via deportation of the illegal aliens living here and for those got Amnesty before hell no to their family. End chain migration, especially if it began with an illegal alien.

    Rep. Gutierrez and His Friends

Rep. Gutierrez you are supposed to help the American public. By that I mean (if you do not understand), people who reside in the United States legally and with Green Cards. So, I do not want amnesty. You cannot help illegal aliens. They did not and do not respect immigration laws. You are supposed to help enforce current laws. I do not want new laws. Every 10 years when the USA is full of illegals (because our representatives in the US Congress do not deport illegal aliens) we have to create new laws for those illegals? NO. We do not have to. We have to enforce current laws. NO TO AMNESTY. AND DEPORT ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS.
