What about the Dems who ran on being tough re illegal immigration? Their constituency will be watching them.
As for the Reps, most of them are dropping like flies away from Jorge.

Sounds to me like the Dems might not even trot out their amnesty bill unless they think they have the votes to pass it. I hope the Republicans in the House are duly reminded of how Bush deliberately threw the election, and then revolt. The ONLY winning side is the NO amnesty side. Anything else will be political suicide.

This is exactly why the GUEST WORKER "program" is being carefully interjected within the national discussion.

Remember, a special firm was hired to MANIPULATE {sell} the public on GUEST WORKER/no AMNESTY/ AMNESTY.

    Great Article!

Tancredo is sure reminding them, he essentially said "Bush got the Congress he wanted for passing amnesty"! I am sure almost every Republican will remember that. Unless Bush can give them an "abdication" ranch like the one he has in Paraguay, they will likely tell him to go pound sand.

This is exactly what they are doing, going to get as many people into this county on visa's and threw guest worker programs as possible with a very short path to citizenship, since we are forceing their hand at closeing the borders they believe they are pulling wool over our eyes. what a bunch of unamerican scum bags. This has to be STOPPED.NOW!!

They will make a deal...they will give him his amnesty, if he gives them more control over trade deals.
Do not vote for Party this year, vote for America and American workers!

Apparently he sleeps just fine. If the thought of thousands of young men and women getting maimed and killed half a world away has no effect on his conscience, the thought of betraying lowly peons like the American public means absolutely nothing to him
Bush seems to have some sort of horrific tunnel vision that is all about what he wants, if America is destroyed in the process......Oh well!
It is justice that it appears his ultimate downfall will be brought on by his own stupid and stubborn actions.
I saw his father on the news today defending him, saying it was the media that was not portraying him in the correct light and that was the reason for his low job rating numbers in the polls. Now, that is a man who is in deep denial or is as out of touch with reality as his son.

The Democrats went to pass it with a strong Maj. They already know they can pass it now onto Bushs desk. Senate will pass it just about as much as spring of 2006, and house will do it by 15 votes at least. They just went to use Republicans for fire wood, so there MSM can blame the whole party.

If Congress dares pass anything that could be construed as tantamount to Amnesty they better do it in complete secrecy because if if it gets on the news 200 million Americans will phone, write and Email their extreme opposition.

Our lawmakers should not underestimate the anger which is just under the surface of 2/3rds of Americans against any such usurpation of the peoples will.
