Deportation order to tear apart family

    By Judy Gibbs Robinson
    Staff Writer
SULPHUR — Five years ago, Adelino Ramirez-Hernandez crossed the U.S.-Mexican border illegally. Before the end of the summer, his 3-year-old son will pay the price.

Under a deportation order issued last month, Ramirez-Hernandez must return to Mexico by July 31, leaving behind his Oklahoma-born wife and son.

Demian Ramirez, who turns 4 Saturday, will suffer most, his family says. "He is very close to his dad,â€

There is a simple solution to this family's problem. The illegal alien goes back to Mexico and takes his wife and child with him. If she is stupid enough to marry an illegal alien then she should be prepared to faced the consequences of her stupidity, divorce him or go with him. No sympathy here!!!!

In the Billy Cook raid, 48 Mexicans were deported immediately. One is a fugitive. Ramirez-Hernandez and a woman fought deportation. The woman succeeded, and now is a legal resident.
I'd like to know how the woman prevented getting deported. You're either illegal or your not.

They communicate in Spanish because Ramirez-Hernandez struggles with English.
Five years and an American wife later and he still can't speak English.

When July comes, Ramirez-Hernandez plans to return to his father's home in Queretero. Krista Ramirez and Damien will stay behind for what they hope is a short time before the paperwork comes through and he can return.
What's the difference in this and amnesty? Ramirez broke the law and now he's going to be rewarded with citizenship because he married an American. I'm sorry, but that just doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Didn't take him long to find an American wife and produce an anchor, did it? His father in law should have saved his money to help his daughter and grandson survive if he was all that worried about them, instead of spending his money on someone who broke our laws to get here.

    Thanks for the warning, Jim.

I'll do my best to avoid her stories from now on.

Southard said he worries about the financial pressure on his 22-year-old daughter, who will have to support the family on the $6.50 an hour she makes tooling leather at the saddle factory.
First they argue illegals don't suppress wages now this guy's complaining because his daughter only makes $6.50 per hr.

They just can't seem to get it right.

Illegal is Illegal - Children are always left behind

I feel sorry for any child that is "left behind" by parents that forget to do the "right thing".

We have thousands of people breaking the laws of our country every year, and a large portion of them gets disconnected from their children because of their actions.

I personally do not feel that illegal aliens should be able to claim clemency for their chosen punishment, any different than should other people breaking the laws. They all have to take responsibility for their own actions. If you can do the time, don't do the crime.

We must be fair to all who have broken our laws to come here.

    SEND THEM ALL HOME!!
Please help save America for our children and grandchildren... they are counting on us. THEY DESERVE the goodness of AMERICA not to be given to those who are stealing our children's future! ... and a congress who works for THEM!
