I just read about this on another site, so I'm late in commenting about this. I agreed with the deportation of this man back to Mexico. My sister who is a nurse has worked with people with high spinal cord injuries and some die due to lung problems. The Chicago hospital and government were right to deport him. People who are quadriplegics accumulate massive medical bills and debts years after their injuries and it goes into the millions. There are a few American quadriplegics that I know that can barely afford medical care and other costs.
This man didn't deserve to remain here in the States. If he had remained here he would take likely used up resources that other Americans would need.
