Deputies: Meth Seized From Cornelius Home

CORNELIUS, Ore. -- Detectives found almost a pound of methamphetamine and more than $3,000 in cash when they searched a home in Cornelius on Friday, sheriff's deputies said.

A Westside Interagency Narcotics team and DEA agents served a search warrant at a home on Dogwood Street at 3 p.m.

From the home, investigators took 14.3 ounces of meth, $3,000 in cash and a .380 caliber handgun, deputies said.

Francisco Hernandez-Heras was arrested on charges of manufacturing, distributing and possessing methamphetamine in connection with the case. Deputies said the drug search was part of an ongoing investigation into the illegal sale of drugs.

A hold has also been placed on Hernandez-Heras by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
