Arizona Republicans scoffed at remarks made by President Barack Obama in Texas on Tuesday calling for comprehensive immigration reform.

They say Obama's visit to El Paso was no more than a campaign speech filled with finger-pointing.

Obama called out Republicans for their position on immigration, saying that Republican demands for border security have been more than met by his administration but that "they'll never be satisfied."

On what was his first trip to the border since becoming president, Obama also called on Republicans for comprehensive immigration reform.

Republican Sens. John McCain and Jon Kyl say Obama worked to undermine immigration reform in the Senate and is now advocating for it during election season.

Republican Congressman Ben Quayle says Obama's speech was "driven by politics and politics alone."
