When a group of Chinese illegal immigrants were picked up by the U.S. Border Patrol in southern Arizona late last month, the challenge for the arresting officers was how to talk to them.

“As an agent I don’t speak Chinese, so it’s very hard. Usually, the only word they understand is ‘passport,’â€

We don't need interperters, they need to learn English before being let in.
Oh, isn't that what our immigration Policy does?
That's one of the stipulations you have to follow.

If Israel puts down their guns there will be no more Israel.

Every interpreter ensures at least a hundred who won't learn English any time soon. And every citizen, immigrant or illegal alien who uses a government-funded interpreter ensures several more who will ask for such services. I'd recommend immediate deportation of illegal aliens unable to understand the language. And for non-English speaking immigrants, I'd give them a choice of finding their own interpreter or returning to the home of their native language. Of course most citizens of this great nation already understand the American principle of self-reliance. For those who don't get it, a lesson is in order. I sense a growing taxpayer resentment of using their funds to appease and pander to those who have so little respect for America that they won't even speak our language. That principle also would be applicable to immigrants and illegal aliens who cannot afford legal representation. If their home nations won't fund lawyers here, they should be forced to seek funding in their home nations.

The California-based firm has 5,200 interpreters on hand speaking 176 languages, from relatively common tongues such as Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian, Polish and Vietnamese to several more obscure dialects spoken by some African tribes and even Mayan villagers from Mexico.
Gee do you think they are trying to divide this nation on purpose?
